The Zwiss Cage Plate is an 11" long cheese plate that includes multiple 1/4 20" and 3/8 16" mounting holes as well as (4) 15mm mounting holes on the ends for a variety of uses. It differs from our standard Zwiss Plate in length. This length is needed so it can be used to create a cage like the Zwiss Cage. The Zwiss Cage plate allows you to mount articulating arms, rods, batteries, converter boxes, and various other accessories. It also has the mounting holes to mount our Wireless Plate Pro. It has two sets of 15mm holes on both ends with Z-Release technology so you can quick release the plate off of your rig, or quick release your accessories off of the plate.If you own a DSLR Z-Cage and would like to convert to a Zwiss Cage, this is the plate you are looking for. In addition, if you want the handles staggered as we show on the Zwiss cage, you will need to purchase (2) Z-Mount IIs to replace the Z-Mount Zwivels on the existing z- cage. The vertical handles on the Zwiss Cage are staggered as opposed to being parallel like on the DLSR Z-Cage for more stability. If you want to properly mount the Zwiss Plate on top of your existing cage, you will need Z-Mounts so you can stagger your handles.
